The Demolition Process

1
STEP 1
Once we have received your signed quotation, we email you with instructions and information on the next steps to enable us to complete and apply for the demolition permit on your behalf, and depending on what kind of demolition you have booked with us, will determine what information is required. We give assistance where required throughout the demolition process and handle most of the process for you.
Bear in mind that the property must be unoccupied for us to begin the process of demolition, and our lead times are generally 8 weeks from vacant possession.

STEP 2
Swift demolition experienced staff arrange for the rat baiting and asbestos assessment once the property is vacant/unoccupied ready for the demolition permit application and other abolishment of services such as power/gas/sewer as required on your behalf free of charge. Once the demolition permit has been received from the Council, we arrange a site meeting with you to finalise the full scope of works prior to the demolition commencing,
3
STEP 3
After the site meeting, temporary fences are erected, asbestos removal and clearance certificate are completed, then we book in the demolition machinery to complete the demolition. We rake the block 800 - 850mm leaving the block clean and ready for other site works/earthworks to take place. We then lodge the completion of demolition form to the council, with required information on your behalf, completing our service to you.
